According to the news, 25% of the students of Prunachandra High School do not take midday meal (MDM) in the Raghunathpur block of Jagatsinghpur district. 10–12 students do not eat the MDM. Students come to school with fast food, such as Maggi, bread bring in tiffin. Parents complained that the prepared midday meal did not taste good. State governments open an Adarsha Vidyalaya in every block to improve the educational system, spending money similarly to private schools. State School and Mass Education Department will be focusing on a specific guideline regarding which subject will be taught in which class especially in the Anganwadi Centre. The department aims to provide literature and mathematic knowledge to the children from class 1 to Class 3 and specified based on the subject. The tribal region of the Mayurbhanj district is inaccessible to government programmes; there have no facility for water, transportation, schools, or an anganwadi centre; also have no facility for an ambulance to visit the village. There are 100 population living in the Garadapani village, which is located in Rairangpur block of Mayurbhanj District. They only receive rations from government scheme, some families also receive Indira Awaas but not completed yet due to transportation problem.

    The State government of Odisha, Sri Naveen Pattnaik wrote a letter to Union Food Minister, Sri Piyush Goyal to accept additional 20 lakh million of surplus rice  which included 17 lakh million of fortified parboiled rice and 3 lakh fortified raw rice for the Kharif Marketing Season 2022-23 for the interest of the Farmer. As per this news, In the Mayurbhanja district, a social audit has been conducted and according to this SA report, 12,056 houses out of 85,321 are not constructed. This news indicates about the Rural employment creation under the Din Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Koushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY). Ministry of Rural developement  has been taken an initiative to provide employment to the 31,067 vulnerable youths from the Rural areas with the aims to provide training and employment under this yojana. News is coming from Nishchintpur village of Tihidi block of Bhadrak district that there is resentment among the people regarding the construction of Anganwadi center because the construction is being done near the drain and the cemetery. Shashi Das is 45 years old, lives alone, and her parents have passed away. she lives in the Korangi village of Buguda block. she survived 10 years with the Filariasis disease, now that has spread more and also smells very bad on her leg. she only receives 5kg of ration and Rs 500/- pension. she has not get Biju Swasthya Card, neither she is able to treat herself, nor is she able to purchase medicine.
